Frequently Asked Questions
- How does the points system work? You start with 20 points each day. Each food you log deducts points based on its nutritional density. Stay within budget to build streaks.
- How accurate is the AI? Our AI uses a curated reference table. If something looks off, you can edit the points after logging.
- Can I log a meal by taking a photo? Yes. Tap the camera button on the home screen, snap your meal, and Claude analyzes the photo to identify the foods and calculate points using the same scoring rubric as text and voice. The photo is sent to our AI provider for one-time analysis and is not stored. See our Privacy Policy for details.
- Can I use Nomscore offline? Yes! Food entries are saved locally and synced when you're back online.
- How do I delete my account? Go to Settings > Delete Account. All your data will be permanently removed.
- How do groups work? Create a group and share the invite code with friends. Compare progress on the leaderboard.
- How do I report a post in my group? Tap the … button on any post and choose Report Post. Pick the reason that fits best. Posts that get multiple reports are hidden automatically while our team reviews them. See our Community Guidelines for what's allowed.
- How do I block someone? Tap the … button on one of their posts and choose Block. You'll stop seeing their posts and reactions in the feed and on leaderboards. Manage or undo blocks anytime from Settings > Blocked Users.
- What happens when I block someone? They can't see your posts either, and your leaderboard rankings no longer include them. Blocking is private — we don't notify the other person.
