Community Guidelines
Effective Date: April 18, 2026
Nomscore is a calm, supportive place to build healthier eating habits with
friends. These guidelines keep it that way. They apply to everything you post
inside groups — check-ins, encouragements, milestones, and reactions — and to
how you treat other members.
What's welcome
- Honest check-ins about your own food choices and progress
- Encouragement, celebration, and constructive support for others
- Questions, recipes, and ideas that help the group eat better
What's not allowed
- Harassment or bullying: personal attacks, body-shaming,
insults, or targeted mockery of any member
- Hate speech: content that attacks or degrades people
based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability,
or any other protected characteristic
- Self-harm or dangerous dieting: content that promotes
eating disorders, extreme restriction, purging, or any behavior that
endangers health. Nomscore is not a medical service — please reach out to
a professional if you're struggling.
- Sexual or explicit content: nudity, sexual content, or
sexually suggestive material
- Spam or scams: promotional links, MLM pitches, affiliate
spam, or any content designed to drive people off-platform for
commercial gain
- Illegal content: anything that violates applicable law,
including content involving minors, drugs, weapons, or threats of violence
- Impersonation or deception: pretending to be someone
else, or systematically falsifying food logs to game leaderboards
Reporting and blocking
Every post has an overflow menu (the … button) with two
actions:
- Report Post — tell us a post violates these guidelines.
Once a post is reported by multiple members it is hidden automatically
while our team reviews it.
- Block User — stop seeing a member's posts and reactions
anywhere in the app. You can manage or undo your blocks at any time from
Settings → Blocked Users.
We review every report. Posts that violate these guidelines are removed,
and repeat offenders are permanently banned from Nomscore.
Enforcement
We may, at our discretion, remove content, suspend accounts, or
permanently terminate accounts that violate these guidelines or our
Terms of Service. Serious or repeated violations will
result in permanent removal without warning.
